Names and obituaries of police officers

This report from the Otago branch of the Public Service Association published in the Public Service Journal notes the loss of Trooper Butler and Constables Caven, Eckford and Johnston of the Dunedin Police (J. Johnston does not appear on the Police Force roll of honour board). From 1916 many policemen joined the Public Service Association and their names and obituaries were published in the Public Service Journal.
